DESCRIPTION : Key Purpose of the Job (Position Summary) The key role is to establish and manage the Sales and Business development activities of Home Solutions vertical of 6D. The role is responsible for sales conversion and supporting business to generate and increase revenue. The roles involves developing a sales plan, generating leads, building strategic proposals, creating sales pitch to targeted clients, maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives. To Identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long term sales and earnings. To ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning and deployment. Responsible for cross-selling and up-selling of the products within verticals. To build and maintain strong customer relationship with specialised focus on elderly community. Key Performance Areas 1. End to End Sales and Business Development activities 2. Lead Conversion 3. Collections Key Responsibilities Sales and Business Development • Achieve assigned Sales targets consistently • Developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, expense controls, meeting agreed targets and promoting the Company’s presence throughout the assigned territory • Expand business in the specified business sectors to generate effective leads & exceed sales targets for the business • Carry out market research through industry contacts, publications, trade events, news to identify venues for growth • Identify and target prospective business deals • Filter out high potential deals by analyzing business strategies, opportunity requirements / pre-requisites / financials, and internal priorities • Design the best negotiating strategies by considering the risks and rewards and keeping in mind the customer’s preferences & goals • Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with customers • Recording sales and order information and maintaining the database • Generate and implement new ideas to expand business Lead Conversion • Map potential customers and generate leads for the organization • Develop strategies to convert potential leads • Create appropriate Sales pitch targeting specific customer groups • Design and develop business proposal based on customer’s needs, follow up leads for successful sales conversion. • Gathering market and customer information Brand Promotion • Devise Brand Promotion strategies to create visibility and increase market share • Identify and initiate activities for promoting and enhancing brand value • Develop brand proposition and sufficient launch support plans. • Research consumer markets, monitor market trends and identifying potential markets Customer Focus • Proactively initiate and engage sales calls to new customers. • Listening and gaining a clear understanding of customer’s requirements • Maintaining and developing professional and courteous relationships with existing and new customers • Creating a strong customer database and maintaining key accounts • Specialized focus in caring and serving customer’s needs as we cater exclusively to the elderly community Cross-Selling and Up-Selling • Encouraging cross-selling and up-selling within other verticals of 6D • Passing on leads and help the other verticals to successfully convert sales wherever possible • Working closely with the teams of other verticals to generate more information about customers and their requirements Collections • Responsible for collection of revenue from the customers once the order is logged in • Ensure collection and settlement of past dues Skills Required • Tenacious & creative sales approach • Driven and motivated by results • Strong Customer focus • A self-starter who can spot new opportunities • Organised with good attention to detail • Able to work as part of wide and varied team • Service attitude • Good presentation skills • Excellent people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of customers • Good communication skills • Ability to handle pressure
